Senior Android Developer (AOSP)

• Design, develop, and customize Android OS based on AOSP for commercial products.

• Work on system-level components such as Android Framework, HAL, native services, and system applications

• Customize Android builds, kernels, and device trees for specific hardware platforms

• Optimize system performance, boot time, memory usage, and power consumption.

• Debug and resolve complex system-level issues related to Android OS, SELinux, drivers, and firmware integration.

• Collaborate with hardware engineers, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless system integration.

• Maintain and enhance Android security mechanisms and compliance with industry standards

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps for Android platform development.

• Prepare technical documentation and best practices for system development

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Android development, with at least 3–4 years working directly with AOSP.

• Strong knowledge of Android architecture: Framework, Binder, ART, HAL, JNI, System Services

• Hands-on experience with AOSP build system (Soong, Make, Repo, Gerrit)

• Solid experience in customizing Android ROM, system images, and device configuration.

• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and C/C++ for Android and system-level development.

• Strong understanding of Linux kernel and embedded Linux environment.

• Experience debugging low-level issues using logcat, adb, JTAG, and other tools.

• Familiarity with security concepts: SELinux, secure boot, encryption, and permissions model.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and lead technical tasks.

• Fluent English communication Skills.
