Game Developer (Cocos) [KB]

DigiSource's Client is seeking a talented and experienced Game Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative slot games. As a game studio, we aim to produce innovative and engaging game experiences for our audience, pushing the boundaries of technology, creativity and the concept of fun. With a culture of learning, we are always researching and dissecting games, speaking with our players, analyzing the market and discerning trends. We also test our design hypothesis and technological implementations with the rigor of a scientist; after all, there is always science in game development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality gambling games (e.g., slots, card games, roulette) using Cocos2d-x or Cocos Creator.
• Implement game logic, user interface, animations, and real-time interactions based on product specifications.
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, QA, and backend developers to deliver smooth and engaging gameplay experiences.
• Optimize performance across multiple platforms, particularly mobile (iOS, Android).
• Ensure RNG logic, payout algorithms, and game math meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and Agile development processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional game development experience.
• Strong experience with Cocos2d-x (C++) or Cocos Creator (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Good in English (spoken and written); able to clearly communicate ideas and feedback in a global team setting.
• Experience integrating games with backend services and third-party SDKs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
