Mid-level 2D Game Animator

We are seeking a talented and motivated MID-LEVEL 2D GAME ANIMATOR to join our team and contribute to the development of visually stunning slot games. You will be a key player in crafting immersive gaming experiences, working with talented artists and developers to bring stunning 2D animations to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Character Animation: Create high-quality 2D animations for game characters, including idle animations, walk cycles, and simple attack animations, ensuring they are smooth, expressive, and consistent with the game's art style.
• UI Animation: Animate UI elements like buttons, sliders, and progress bars, creating simple transitions and effects to enhance the user experience.
• Spine Proficiency: Utilize Spine's features and workflows to create efficient, high-quality, and optimized animations for various game engines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with artists, designers, and developers to ensure animations align with the game's vision, providing and receiving feedback effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of animation principles and be proficient in using Spine, our primary animation tool.

Core Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience as a 2D game animator.
• Proficiency in Spine and other relevant animation tools.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and weight shifting.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in game animation is required.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and a keen eye for quality.
• Good English communication and teamwork skills.

Pluses:

• Experience with game engines, such as Unity or Unreal Engine, is a significant plus.
