Description
We’re looking for a Senior Presales Engineer to lead clients through the complete lifecycle of AI Rudder’s voice automation solutions, from discovery and solution design to implementation, optimization, and long-term success.
This role is ideal for a strategic, technically savvy consultant who thrives on translating complex business challenges into impactful AI-powered voice solutions. You’ll be the bridge between client needs and our cutting-edge technology, ensuring every engagement delivers measurable value and ROI.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end client engagement journey, from discovery and scoping to solution design, validation, and implementation.
- Design and deliver Proof-of-Concept (PoC) and Proof-of-Value (PoV) projects that effectively demonstrate solution impact while optimizing for cost and time.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on technical feasibility and business value.
- Translate technical capabilities (AI, LLM, APIs, VOIP, ASR, NLU, TTS, etc.) into tangible business outcomes for enterprise clients.
- Lead solution presentations and negotiations, ensuring clarity, confidence, and stakeholder buy-in at every stage.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with clear communication, strong prioritization, and timely execution.
- Drive recurring service success, including identifying and executing upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Represent AI Rudder at client meetings, webinars, and industry events, showcasing thought leadership and product expertise.
- Continuously learn and innovate, staying ahead of AI trends to advise clients and improve solution offerings.
Key Metrics of Success:
- Timely and high-quality project delivery across full implementation lifecycles.
- High client satisfaction and retention rates.
- Conversion success of PoC/PoV into production projects.
- Revenue growth through renewals, upselling, and cross-selling.

Required qualifications
You are a strategic problem-solver with a strong blend of technical fluency, business acumen, and execution focus. You lead with curiosity, communicate with clarity, and deliver with precision.
Background & Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 full project implementation lifecycles.
- Proven pre-sales and solutioning experience in SaaS environments.
- Experience with recurring services — driving upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
- Solid understanding of startup and enterprise business processes.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a business or technical discipline preferred (or equivalent experience).
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong command of AI concepts including ASR, NLU, TTS, LLMs, and related lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of APIs, VOIP systems, application development, and cloud/on-premise deployment methodologies.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Vietnamese, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in solution architecture, project management, and CRM tools.
- Experience with SQL or similar database languages is a plus.
