Salesforce Commerce Cloud Engineer (Mid–Senior Level)

About the Role

We are looking for a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable eCommerce solutions for international clients. This role will focus on B2C/B2B Commerce Cloud implementations, including storefront development, integrations, and performance optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class shopping experiences and help shape our commerce technology roadmap.



Key Responsibilities

• Commerce Cloud Development:
• Develop, customize, and maintain SFCC storefronts using ISML templates, JavaScript Controllers, and SFRA.
• Build reusable cartridges and ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices.
• Implement business logic for product catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout flow, and order management.
• Integration & Architecture:
• Integrate Commerce Cloud with external systems (ERP, OMS, Payment Gateways, CRM).
• Work with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (MuleSoft, custom integrations) for seamless data flow.
• Participate in solution design, performance tuning, and scalability planning.
• CI/CD & Quality Assurance:
• Manage code deployments using Git, Jenkins, or Salesforce CI/CD pipelines
• Write and maintain unit tests, ensure high code coverage, and support QA teams during SIT/UAT.
• Collaboration & Delivery:
• Work closely with BAs, PMs, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers to ensure end-to-end delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide effort estimates, and deliver tasks on schedule.
• Optimization & Maintenance:
• Analyze site performance, optimize page load times, and implement SEO best practices.
• Monitor production systems and resolve incidents proactively.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 4–7 years in Salesforce development with at least 2–3 years in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of SFCC architecture, SFRA framework, ISML, JavaScript Controllers, and pipelines.
• Proficiency in Apex, LWC, and integrations with Salesforce core clouds (Sales/Service/Experience).
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, custom integrations, and headless commerce (optional).
• Familiarity with Payment Gateway integrations (Stripe, PayPal, Adyen)
• Tools & Process:
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Copado, or other CI/CD tools.
• Comfortable with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in distributed teams.
• Certifications:
• Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer certification (preferred).
• Platform Developer I or II, Application Architect, or B2B Commerce Administrator (a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-site, multi-language commerce implementations.
• Knowledge of headless commerce, API-led integrations, and composable commerce approach.
• Exposure to React.js, Node.js, or front-end frameworks for custom storefront development.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical designs.
