System Engineer Lead

Project Overview:

This is a web system project for a Japanese client. The development phase is completed; the team is now handling system maintenance and optimization. The system automates the creation of business documents (quotation, order, contract, invoice, etc.), synchronizes data with an ERP system, and integrates OpenAI-based AI functions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance team for the Japanese client’s web system.
• Act as the main technical contact between the Chinese team and Japanese customer.
• Analyze requirements, propose and implement technical solutions.
• Ensure system performance, security, and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring for team members.
• Monitor progress and report project status to stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

• Frontend: Next.js
• Backend: TypeScript
• Cloud: AWS
• 4+ years in web system development, with at least 1 year in a leader or sub-leader role.
• Experience in international or Japanese projects preferred.
• Strong team leadership and communication skills.

Languages:

• Japanese: Business level (N2–N1), able to communicate directly with clients.
• English: Reading technical documentation.
